The Appraisal Institute of Canada
All the appraisers at Atlas Appraisal Services are proud members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada – the country’s premier appraisal organization. The AIC was established in 1938 and today operates in all ten provinces and with over 4,800 members. The institute grants the distinguished Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) and Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designations to its members who meet the vigorous educational and professional standards. AIC is a self-regulating organization that is guided by a code of conduct, and Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (CUSPAP) to ensure that its members maintain the highest level of integrity and professional and commit themselves to reflecting those high standards.
