Wendy Sydoruk was born and raised in the small town of Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. After high school she moved around a little and worked in different fields in Inuvik NWT, and in Saskatoon SK. She moved to Lloydminster in the summer of 1997 and started work at the Bea Fisher Centre. Wendy worked with adults with various disabilities for 12 years.

In 2002 she decided to further her education and earned a diploma in Appraisal and Assessment from Lakeland College. Wendy worked for a while then decided to go back to school again. In the spring of 2008 she graduated with an Advanced Business Diploma from Lakeland College and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Athabasca. After taking a year off for maternity leave Wendy started working at Atlas Appraisal Services in May of 2009 and in June of 2014 achieved her goal of earning the AACI designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC).

Wendy is married to Jeff and is a proud mom of three children – two boys and a girl who keep her quite busy. In September of 2008 Wendy joined the Kinettes and since then has thoroughly enjoyed volunteering and giving back to the community.
